If you read Lovin’ Soap E-zine volume 3 then you got to learn a little about Holly Port of Lotion Bar Cafe. I first “met” Holly when I received a bar of her soap in one of Bramble Berry’s soap swaps. I fell in love with her labels (and of course her soap). We got to meet at the HSMG conference this year and she is a blast! We’re giving away TWO bundles of her awesome products!
I like to call Holly the Bath Bomb Queen! Its not rare for her to be working on an order of 1000+ bath bombs! Can you imagine!?
Each bundle from Lotion Bar Cafe contains a bar of soap, a lotion bar, a bath bomb, a lip balm, an eye shadow and an oatmeal milk bath!
To enter the giveaway simply visit Holly’s website, www.lotionbarcafe.com, take a look around and come back here and leave a comment telling us which product you liked the best or found interesting. You have until Wednesday (9/28). We’ll announce the winners on Thursday!
Thanks for the wonderful giveaway, Holly!

Whole site is great, but I just kept coming back to the bath bombs–love the packaging!
Soooo much to choose from, such lovely products and names
As a soapmaker I’m naturally drawn to yummy soaps, I think the Espresso Soap is one I’d love to try, especially with it’s description ‘An espresso a day will keep the grouchiness away’.
I also love the brightly coloured goody bags
Very inspiring and wonderful packaging too.
The pumpkin cheesecake lip balm sounds really good!
I really thought the soap made with grits was cool! I like how she used an every day item to make something so wonderful and useful. Now I am going to have to try it!! Thank you for the inspiration. 🙂
I’ve “seen” Holly around but have never visited her website. What awesome looking products! The Faith soap would be my favorite from the description.
Raspberry Truffle Soap! As she says “Need I say more?” Mercy no! It doesn’t get more sinful then this one! Oh to kick back in a tub of hot water and enjoy the darkness of chocolate and the sweetness of raspberries scenting the air and your skin. The kind of scent that would sent your mate nibbling on you!
*set not sent lol
All products look great. Labeling is difficult, at best, and she has gone above board on hers. I would have to pick the bath bombs. They are the first that I have ever seen that I would want to purchase. The packaging did it. Now I have a great idea of what to do with mine. Thanks!
What a beautiful selection of products! There is nothing there that I would not enjoy trying. Being that I am 20 weeks pregnant I would have immediately gravitated toward the shea butters but they are so popular they seem to be out of stock!! So second choice would be the Dakarai Soy Candle.
The goody bags, I just love surprises and to be able to try lots of little things!
It’s all about the swirl! Love that technique…:-)
Thanks for the giveaway,
~Carla

Love the way the products are packaged! Each product’s package compliments the other. I was interested in all of the products but the Lotion Bar Cafe line caught my eye. I like the description for the Lotion Bars too. The Goody Bags sounded great and I have to say the bath bombs too! I think you can’t just pick one item, they all looked fantastic!
I am new to the soaping world but with fall just around the corner I tend to migrate toward butters and lotion bars for myself. The Cherry Vanilla whipped butter sounds so luxurious and heavenly. But what stood out for me is how the products are displayed. The logo is very eye catching and sophisticated, but not over the top bold. The labeling is readable and the font is a classy style giving the look of quality. They make a great ‘first impression’.
What fun to click through Hollys site and envision the smells of champagne, lilacs, or lavender mint sudsing in your hands. Elegant packaging and her descriptions make you want at least one of each of all her products.
Great labels and packaging: very elegant and fresh.
It was difficult to make a choice; I loved all about the products. Lotion bars are so amazing and I loved the countainers of the whipped shea butter, and the packaging of the bath bombs to.
Thank you Amanda for this great website.
Great website and gorgeous looking products. My first choice is the Lemongrass Bath Fizzy but there are so many others I love to try as well.
I have to say I absolutely love her packaging. I also love the Lughing Lab Beer as I am just now delving into the world of making cold processed lager soaps. Love the swirls of her soaps as well. All in all I am impressed with the labeling. Like the previous poster (Candace), labels are the bane of my existence. 🙂
I am struck by the beauty and simplicity of Holly’s labels. Considering that my labels are the bane of my existence, hers give me hope that, one day, I too will have professional looking labels that are simple yet exquisite.
I like how the bath bombs are packaged. They look like presents or big candies.
I truly enjoyed this post and was so inspired with the packaging. I believe that this is what handmade products should look like and I absolutley love them! I would have to choose a combination of products because they all look and sound great.
Great products! I think the lavender mint soap would be delightful.
Her Lavender mint soap sounds so refreshing, but her lotion bars look sooo pretty! I would truely love to try any of her beautiful creations!
Handmade soap bars always win out with me. And, I could see my favorite on the first page – Almond Soap! I love a good almond scent. It’s sweet, a little woody, warm. Simply put, it’s a welcoming fragrance!
We have to pick only one product!?! Impossible! I loved so many things about the products…the packaging, the names of the products, the descriptions…arg!! The dill pickle lip balm really piques my interest, in a weird sort of way…lol! I love the raspberry truffle products…and the champagne also. Since I can’t choose just one product, I’ll go with the goody bag! Great job, Holly!
I’d love to try her Mama Annes Southern Grits Soap. I think it’s so smart & should feel wonderful!
I think my favorite would either be the Lavendar Mint or the Bubble Gum Lip Balm. The lip balm would bring back memories of my childhood.
ooooh! was hard to just pick one item….but i think i’d choose the Sparkling Champagne and Pomegranate soap:) and also Amy’s Cherry Vanilla bath bomb has piqued my interest:)
The Cherry Almond soap for sure. There is something about that fragrance that makes me happy. What a great website. Her products are all beautifully packaged and I am headed back there right now to look some more!
I’m interested to see what Pure SUDuction smells and feels like.
I really loved the goody bags, great idea to sample several daily use products at once. Clever! The grits soap had a charming name and an even more charming little story! Love the logo too, just perfect!
Arg *goody bag (it’s too early in the morning for proper spelling)
I’d go for the good bag or the bath bombs (cherry Vanilla) 😀
So hard to pick…every thing looks so amazing (I especially like the way it is all packaged)…but I think I would like to try a lotion bar…as a matter of fact I think I might be placing an order this morning! Thanks for the introduction!
How beautiful everything was presented. It kept you wanting more, great job. I would love to be part of a soap swap also. Thank you for sharing all of this.
Oh my gosh her goodies look divine. The Laughing Lab Beer Soap sounds so good and the chocolate malt ball lip balm sounds even more yummy 😉
Thank you for directing me to Holly’s site! It is very clear that Holly loves what she does and it is reflected in her products. Lets see….I could see soaking in a tubby with a Cherry Almond Bath Fizz. Lathering up with some Cherry Almond soap and adding one more layer, a slather of Holly’s decadent Cherry Almond Whipped Body Lotion. I know I would feel and smell Amazing!! PS. Her packaging is Beautiful!!!
I would love to try any of the shea butter soaps and Momma Anne’s Southern Grits soap!
I’m from South GA. where grits are a staple, so I would be thrilled to try them in a soap! Thx for the introduction & opportunity.
I didn’t even see the lotion bars on the website, but they are mentioned on the giveaway and I’d like to try one since I have have. However, dealing strictly with what I saw on the website, I’d choose the whipped shea since that sounds rather luxurious!!
Total toss up between her bath bombs and her labels – both of which I have yet to master! The coloring of her CP soap is exquisite also.
I think I would love either the lemongrass whipped shea butter or the lemongrass soap!
I’d have to say that the whipped shea butters caught my attention first because the containers look like little Ben&Jerry’s containers! The cherry vanilla scent is what I’d get because vanilla scents are my favourites and in my mind, it’d smell like a sundae, and who wouldn’t want to smell like an ice cream sundae? I also really love the packaging on the bath fizzies- it’s so colourful!
I liked the ginger-orange soap: it sounds delicious. After all, if family likes it,& they get to try everything, then it must be pretty fantastic!! 🙂
I too have had the pleasure of receiving Holly’s soap in a BB soap swap! Therefore, I am compelled to mention her handcrafted soap as my favorite product. I also love her packaging. It is simply elegant.:)

Everything looks so wonderful, from the colors of the soaps to the labels! I would choose a goody bag 🙂 That way I could sample several product at one time and pamper myself in one fell swoop! Thank you for offering this give away! What a great way to see the fabulous work of others!
I love the bath fizzies!!! My skin was so soft and lovely! I just want more!
I would LOVE to try the Coco-Nutty Pomegrante soap! Sounds so unique, just like me 😉
The oatmeal milk bath sounds fabulous!
Great catalog photos – I like the 8 oz lotions, the soaps look and sound fantastic, I also liked the lotion stick or can – but think I would prefer the stick.
I just love the packaging on the bath fizzies! Amy’s Cherry Vanilla bath fizzy really grabbed my attention. I would love to bathe in that!
The Raspberry Truffle soap would have to be my favorite. What’s better than chocolate and raspberry blended together!
So hard to decide! She has some very unique products. The Faith soap and the Laughing Lab Beer soap would be the two I would have to decide between. Hmm….I pick the Lughing Lab Beer Soap!!
