It is finally spring here in Kansas City! Flowers are blooming, flowering trees are budding and birds are chirping! Spring time is my favorite time of the year.
Yesterday Benjamin and I took the day off and went for a hike. We have a one day a week unplugged rule. No phone and no internet. I did break the rule to talk to Kathy White about Soap Collaborative! 🙂 It was a beautiful day out and Benjamin and I enjoyed the time together in nature.
This past weekend I also made a ton of soap for blog projects. Benjamin and I are headed to Senegal on April 11th with Lovin’ Soap Project, so I wanted to have plenty of projects ready to post while I’m gone. Here are a few pictures…
I can’t wait to share these projects with you!
Let’s have a giveaway!
Bramble Berry recently sent me their Spring Fever fragrance oil collection to try! How cool is that?! It is no secret that I LOVE BB, so I was thrilled for the package. The Spring Fever fragrance oil collection includes:
Clover and Aloe
Sunflower
Blueberry Jam
Blooms and Berries
They all smell amazing! I especially liked Clover and Aloe. I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t use fragrance oils anymore, just essential oils…so I immediately thought it would be fun to do a giveaway! I know that one of you will give them a wonderful home. 🙂

I would absolutely love to try Mango Mango. I love anything mango, so I believe it will be my next purchase. I love your blog, by the way!
I like BB’s Honeysuckle Surplus. I’ll be interested to read about your experiences in Senegal.
Karma plz!!
Honestly, I have not tried BB fragrance oils yet. I usually get colorant from there because I think BB has the best quality. Plus you know what the outcome will be when using for cold process. The fragrance I have been wanting to try is. “Energy”. Anne-Marie has stated that it’s her favorite for swirling.
My favorite Brambleberry FO, at least of the ones I’ve used is Kentish Rain, but I really want to try some of the more foodie scents because I LOVE soaps and other products that smell like sweets. I want to try the Hazelnut Toffee and Pumpkin Brown sugar FO’s!
Moroccan Fig or Pink Grapefruit is what I love. I have to push myself to experiment with other fragrance oils.
I have so many favorites from Brambleberry, but my all time favorite is Summer Melon Spritzer.
Energy is my go to. Lovely, Lovely scent.
Sorry I’m not on FB to enter fully, but my favorite…just one?! White tea and ginger, but the Black tea, and Tobacco and Bay leaf are terrific too.
Picking just one is so difficult, but I love BB champagne fo.
Love BB’s Energy! It’s amazing on its own and blends well, too 🙂
My favorite has to be pumpkin and brown sugar…yum. I love the fall smells. Even if it isn’t Autumn.
My favorite is probably Karma.
Haven’t tried it but I would say blackberry sage cybilla.
Pumpkin Spice is my favorite.
Energy is my all time fav!
Dragons blood mixed with English rose
I tend to use more essential oils but I really love the Neroli and Shea Blossom. I used it for your lotion bar recipe. Such a warm, mellow scent. I feel happy just thinking about it!
Cherry Blossom is my fave from BB! Safe journeys.
I always get my pumpkin pie fragrances from BB. I love the gingerbread too, I am anxious to see if the blueberry fo turns brown and if blue coloring stays blue.
Love their Ginger Ale FO. It makes such a fun and uplifting blend for adults, and is super exciting for the kids as a straight scent. I love seeing their little eyes light up when they come to the “boring” soap booth with their parents, only to find a soap that smells like a sweet soda pop!
Blackberry Sage sounds beautiful!!
Blackberry sage f.o.! Love using it in my merlot soap! 🙂
Island coconut
Coconut anything is divine!!
I love the Energy Fragrance oil!!
I too love Neroli and Shea Blossom. It takes me back to gentler kinder days but I love their Nag Champa too. It’s so mellow and sweet. Love BB customer service and kindness.
I love BB Cranberry Pomegranate FO!
I love Lemon verbena!
I love so many of the fragrances from Brambleberry! The customer favorites are Vanilla Oak in Colorado and Southern Peach in Lake Lotawana, MO.
Wishing you and Benjamin a wonderful trip!
I just received a sample of Green Fig from BB a couple weeks ago and I really like it. Haven’t used it to make a soap yet, but I used it to make a candle instead. I also love their Lavender and Herb as well as Fresh Snow.
Just am getting started with soap making, and I would love to start with their Blackberry Sage Cybilla Fragrance Oil
Here’s hoping. 😉
Hi Amanda, my super favorite fragrance from Bramble Berry is Energy ! I absolutely love it, and just like you I love their products and the attention to their clients.
Have a good day !
Coconut-Lemongrass! All day, my personal favorite in cold process soap. I have tried many lemongrass and combinations, but most smell like the old furniture polish.
It behave perfectly and offers very little discoloration. Just can’t find it anywhere but Bramble Berry, and that keeps me going back too. 😉
Dragon’s blood, have a great trip!
I love Brambleberry!! I have so many favorites but right now, I love Neroli & Shea Blossom because it is one of those scents that take you to a favorite memory. This scent reminds me of hanging out with my aunt at my grandma’s pool. ?
Dragon’s Blood. BB’s is the best!
Dragon’s Blood! BB’s fragrance is the best.
I really like Brambles Applejack Peel.
Turkish Mocha. Hands down.
