Why? Because if you happen to be soaping a new fragrance and you have this happen:
You can dump it in your crock pot and hot process it!
And hopefully…it turns out okay!
So for newer soapers…my favorite piece of advice is to own a crockpot (check out your local thrift stores for great deals)! I can’t tell you how many batches of soap I’ve saved after a bad seize or separation. If you run into troubles, dump it in your crock pot and HP it. Now this won’t help you if you’ve mis-measured your ingredients…that’s another topic for another day.
How do you save a batch of seized soap? Or do you? I’m amazed by how many people just toss it. Yikes! That can get expensive.
Happy soaping!

Being a novice… this is on my list now!
